Three shabby chic vintage file folders created in an afternoon! What a great time I had putting these little cuties together! It all came together when I had a few hours open, but didn’t want to embark on a large project. I wanted something that was easy and would use up some of my paper scraps. Since the mini 5×7″ file folders were a neutral creme and black color, I decided to continue with those colors. All of my papers were laid out and cut to relatively the same size when folded in half. Embellished Vintage File Folder Junk Journal
This embellished vintage file folder junk journal was inspired by the beautiful woman I cut out of a magazine. At the time I didn’t know what I was going to make with her, but I knew the idea would come to me sooner or later. One day I decided to use up a bunch of manila file folders I had lying around. There were a total of 8 regular size folders which I cut in half lengthwise. Make any width and length you want your journal to be. Jeweled Decoupage Mini Altered Box
This decoupage altered box started out as a plain container for a wheel of cheese! Using mod podge matte, I decoupaged craft paper to the interior and exterior of the base and lid of the container and then I did the same for the sides. Any excess paper was easy to cut off once dry. I used an exacto knife to get clean edges. The craft paper was from the Modern Millinery Signature paper collection. This pack of double sided craft paper was purchased at Wal-Mart. They have some great options that are reasonably priced. Once the paper dried, the decorations were easy to apply using E6000. Various fabric scraps,…
