Shabby Chic Mini File Folder Junk Journals
Three shabby chic vintage file folders created in an afternoon! What a great time I had putting these little cuties together! It all came together when I had a few hours open, but didn’t want to embark on a large project. I wanted something that was easy and would use up some of my paper scraps. Since the mini 5×7″ file folders were a neutral creme and black color, I decided to continue with those colors. All of my papers were laid out and cut to relatively the same size when folded in half. Vintage 1940’s evening dress – re purposed
I have to admit, I have a hard time passing up a Goodwill sale. In my area, they happen every other Saturday. It seems that every time I make it to one of these sales, I find something (or a lot of somethings) to be thrilled about. I did have a focus for this goodwill excursion: to find laces and trim for a journal I am making. You really can get a lot for the money looking at clothing to use in your projects rather than going to the craft store.
