    Gorgeous Vintage Lace Junk Journal Grocery Bag

    I constructed the cover by taking a large white paper bag and cutting it down to 10 inches wide (this includes two 4 inch covers and a 2 inch spine) and 8 inches high. I watched lots of you tube tutorials and adapted them to end up with this result. Next, I put together my signatures by picking out papers with a neutral color scheme (this was difficult for me as I LOVE COLOR). Each paper measured approximately 8 x 10″.     My first post! Woohoo! I chose to feature this little 5″ x 7″ gem because it was quick and easy to put together using fabric scraps, cardboard, vintage jewelry/buttons and coffee dyed papers. A total of 24 various pages of scrapbook leftovers I had in my “stash” including lots of blank pages for journaling that are finished off with a little “glitter and glam” bling. The journal is secured with two 1 inch ring binder loops. I started by sewing my fabric pieces randomly by hand along the left side of my 2 cardboard scraps on both the front and back covers.
