Shabby Chic Vintage All Fabric Junk Journal

My inspiration

I have A LOT of fabric. Quite a bit is vintage, with pastels and lots of lace. So I decided, it was time to put together a Shabby Chic Vintage All Fabric Junk Journal.

Lately, I have been using old books for the covers of my journals. I wanted to challenge myself to make a different type of journal. Firstly, looking for ideas on YouTube, I was inspired by ARTEmaze and how she put together her fabric book. There are 3 parts to this YouTube tutorial and it was perfect for my challenge.

Rather than going through the complete process for making this journal, I am posting a flip through with a detailed description of each photo. I am in the process of doing a tutorial on how I made this on my YouTube channel.

I hope you enjoy this post. Please visit my YouTube channel for a full flip through of this journal and stay tuned for a tutorial!

Glitter on friends,

I am a self proclaimed junk journal fanatic and creative crafter. If it is vintage, I am in! I recently retired from the corporate world and now have more time to devote to my love of creating one of a kind treasures. Besides junk journals my hobbies include thrifting, flea market outings, fashion, cooking, hanging with my girlfriends and daughter and golf with my husband. I currently live in the mountains of beautiful Colorado.

Hi Pam, I saw you commented in the Ashe theme support about your comments not displaying, and clearly they do now which is great! Would you possibly be able to let me know how you solved the issue? If you have a minute to spare I’d love if you could email me or reply to this comment (my website is not yet up).

Thank you so much, your blog looks great 🙂

    Hi Linda,

I apologize for not getting back to you earlier. I have had some connectivity issues here. To answer your question, When you are creating your post, there is an icon for settings (looks like a gear) you can click on the upper right hand side of the blog post, then click document (this is where you add your featured image, tags, categories). Scroll all the way to the bottom and there is a section called discussion, that is where the box is to allow comments. I hope this is clear, let me know if you have any other questions. Most importantly, thank you for the nice compliment!

    Pam
