Jeweled Decoupage Mini Altered Box

This decoupage altered box started out as a plain container for a wheel of cheese! Using mod podge matte, I decoupaged craft paper to the interior and exterior of the base and lid of the container and then I did the same for the sides. Any excess paper was easy to cut off once dry. I used an exacto knife to get clean edges. The craft paper was from the Modern Millinery Signature paper collection. This pack of double sided craft paper was purchased at Wal-Mart. They have some great options that are reasonably priced.

Once the paper dried, the decorations were easy to apply using E6000. Various fabric scraps, buttons and vintage jewelry from my mother in law. The final touch was to apply bling on a roll around the edges, also from Wal Mart.
Glitter on friends,
