Corrugated Cardboard Cutie Junk Journal
My first post! Woohoo! I chose to feature this little 5″ x 7″ gem because it was quick and easy to put together using fabric scraps, cardboard, vintage jewelry/buttons and coffee dyed papers. A total of 24 various pages of scrapbook leftovers I had in my “stash” including lots of blank pages for journaling that are finished off with a little “glitter and glam” bling. The journal is secured with two 1 inch ring binder loops.

I started by sewing my fabric pieces randomly by hand along the left side of my 2 cardboard scraps on both the front and back covers. I like to overlap and scrunch the various pieces in no particular way. I attached my buttons and jewelry on top with heavy duty thread to the front cover. The closure is a gold vintage clasp that was in my broken jewelry box. Perfect!

I am so excited to share this post with you! I am just getting the hang of posting, and hoping to add more soon. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments on how I can improve and grow this dream of mine!
Glitter on friends,
